scratch 4.0 will kill scratch because of ai slop and also, higher browser requirements. it's worse than scratch 3.0 scratch 3.0 killed windows xp (RIP), so scratch 4.0 will kill windows 7 (WILL RIP). it will also be thrembo times harder than scratch 3.0 and have gigantic blocks. also, the scratch cat will be mutilated and look different. scratch 3.0 and 2.0 and 1.4 projects will break permantly. thanos cat will snap 50% of scratch, they will mass exodus to modshare, snap, wrappertube, etc. also, i will say more soon.

It would probably be a good update for the aesthetic of the website and may even fix some bugs. The AI won't make your project for you, it'll instead give you a few code blocks or suggest a different project to view in order for you to learn how to code the project without the AI doing it all for you.

From my understanding, the AI will be in the form of extensions and an AI assistant. Presumably the AI assistant will be training on users' projects considering the new TOS allows them to do that.
Also, SkiToons, there aren't even so much as rumors about HTML6, much less plans to use it for Scratch 4.0. Scratch 3 runs on Windows XP, just use the web client in Supermium. The blocks will almost certainly remain the same size so that they're usable on both desktop and mobile devices, although they might change the shape and color of the blocks to fit in with the 4.0 aesthetic.
