My computer being slow?

Nothing specific really. Its just that when I play some flash games for a long time (read: 3 to 10 minutes), my computer starts to lag out; doing anything takes a long time (read: ~13 seconds for window maximize) and is accompanyed with half drawn pictures while the screen loads. Closing doesn't help, although letting it sit for a few hours fixes it. What could be the problem? Hardware, software, just the specific game, or do I need to update flash?

Win7 (32 bit), IE9, flash player 11.4.402.287

On these forums, a bump won't help much, because your post don't get buried under many others. tongue

Anyway, sorry, I don't have a good answer.
