IE Login glitch

Logging in temporarily sends you to IE cannot display, then refresh brings you back to the front page.

EDIT: The title was LiTSytIECD,tRBybttFP, but someone changed it. Oh well, that's fine.

Hmm. I'll look into that one. I haven't ever seen that one before.

I just tried logging in using IE and this didn't happen to me.
What was the URL of the page that couldn't display and what version of IE are using?

Logging in sends you to modshare.org/login, an IE cannot display, then refreshing loads the FP. IE9IIRC

I tried on my copy of IE and it worked. I think this an issue on your end.

You may have a faulty browser or something. I also have IE9 and it works fine. Check if there are any updates available.

Apparently I use 9.0.8112.16421, but it doesn't say anywhere what the newest is.

Please don't bump this topic - I already said that this issue does not happen for me (using the exact same browser), and nobody else has posted on this topic saying it has happened to them. This is very likely an issue on your end. I will not try to implement a fix for a problem that is probably a result of a faulty browser. Bumping this topic will not change that.

Even though you'll probably say don't bump, there's nothing we can do about it, I am on another computer and IE9, and it still happens.

I have finally been able to duplicate the glitch. I had to log in using my test account.

I have implemented a fix as well, by using a different type of redirect.

What a coincidence - I was thinking that it might have been a user/usergroup specific bug a few hours ago It works fine for me now
