Modcamp — Kitcat 1.3

Modcamp is sort of like bootcamp. You choose a mod, Kitcat closes, then when you reopen it, Kitcat turns into the mod you selected. You can then switch mods or make a project in the current mod your in. So far, this feature is working. I'm adding Teleport right now, and I'm almost done adfing it. Next, I will add Gopher.

So, does it just have a bunch of different images? It's a good idea!

No,it doesn't. I have to program every mod in.

Re: Modcamp — Kitcat 1.3

That sounds like a pain, but I look forward to the final product, because it sounds great.

Will KitKat ever be availible for 3DS? ( this is a request) I have one  and really want scratch (or in this case, a scratch mod) on it.

Re: Modcamp — Kitcat 1.3

Well, I think that Squeak is available for the 3DS, so it can't be that hard form GP1 to adapt it.

Re: Modcamp — Kitcat 1.3

I do not know if they have a virtual machine for Squeak on the 3DS, but if there is, you can easily put Scratch or Kitcat on it.
@jacob I actually am thinking about making an official DS game card thingy for Kitcat and sell it. I'm not sure how hard that would be, though.

I'm guessing it would be kind of hard. If you got it working, that would be really cool, though.

I don't think you could sell it though, because of the Scratch Source Code License.

It says something like:

"The scratch mod must be freely open to the public."

maybe instead of hard-coding the mods in, you can use an XML/JSON format for mods to be added.  That way, it's much easier.

Some people don't like other mods copying their code, even if you give credit.

Re: Modcamp — Kitcat 1.3

im baaaaaaaaaaaaaack!!
And Kitcat 1.3 has been started up again!

I am glad to say that Modcamp has FULL support with Gopher (1.3 I think) and full support with the unknown mod, Teleport. Modcamp works perfectly, and now I can begin to start taking more mods into Modcamp.

If you have your own mod, or you want to suggest a mod, to be put into Modcamp, please post!
