What do you mean with the second one?
I think that this idea might be nice, but if we implement it it will be low priority, as both LS and I have a lot of homework, and we have a lot of other stuff we need to code.

Either:
Online on scratch but not modshare
Was online in the past 5 minutes but isn't on now (doesn't make sense though)

I think the best compromise between reliability and network effectiveness is actually to test the user's status every 5 minutes, so that would make your second state obsolete.
We might implement it eventually, but I don't think it is going to happen.
