Uploading and Sharing things

I want to make a website where you can upload and share things (not files, just text) to everyone, but I don't know how you would have it show up after it's posted, like on this site, or how the submit button works.

Do you know how to insert/retrieve things into/from databases?

Well, in that case, you need to learn PHP and SQL (if you want to use a database). Once you learn those, it shouldn't be too hard.

The problem is that I can't figure out what is safe to censor and what isn't, and by the time I censor out all of the code that would compromise the security of this site, you've gotten almost nothing.
