Yes, it is on a different 'planet' (years and days are different) and it is sped up a whole lot. Days are actually longer when more lag is happening (storms, snow) and everything else continues at the same speed (wait () secs block) so the amount of days per year can be different every year! :o also, trees die, catch on fire (lightning) and plant more trees!

This also shows how one tree can either completely fail, or succeed at making a forest!
