Yep. Public domain just means people can do whatever they want with it once they download it.

Mod Share 3 is the rebirth of your favorite website. Mod Share 2 got cancelled by 000webhost for "excessive CPU usage".
We've re-created the site and forum at 1freehosting, a web host that seems pretty reliable. We're sorry for everyone who lost projects, but we can't get them back. Anyway, it's nice to get a fresh start.
So, this site has all of the old features, plus a few new ones! These include:

Feature list

  • The full-screen flash viewer

  • Friends

  • Being able to see your friends' latest projects on the home page

  • Project bookmarking

  • User notification (comments, replies, etc)

  • Much better forum integration

    • Header included, no frames

    • Accounts synchronize

    • Ability to embed projects in the forum

  • Avatars for your user account

  • A way to let other users edit projects with the password

  • Replying to comments

  • Ability to change the project file

  • Ability to recover deleted/blocked projects
